The Thai Art Gallery Online offers a variety of contemporary original Thai artworks painted by emerging, professional artists who live and work in Thailand. Their subject matter ranges from modern interpretations of traditional and Buddhist themes to a variety of contemporary subjects and styles to the purely abstract.
The Thai Art Gallery Online stands apart from other purveyors of Thai art goods in that we sell only original, unique artworks by dedicated artists rather than mass-produced prints.
The Paintings
The paintings are either oil, silicon or acrylic based with some gilded gold leaf on canvas and In order to protect the image retention, all of our paintings are coated with varnish after they are finished.
They are mounted by way of stapling on to high quality hard wood frames to ensure that the frame does not twist and bend over time and will hang perfectly to any wall.
Our paintings are available in an assortment of sizes and our artists are available for commissioned works.
The artists commissioned by the Thai Art Gallery base their ideas around eastern religous origins of Buddha with spiritual motifs and ideas.
Styles range from Mythology, Realism, Still Life, Abstract and Contemporary and influences of some Cubism and Art Nouveau.
The paintings produced by the artists are original artworks and not prints. They are one off's and never one the same. If you see a painting on our website that has been sold we can commission the artist to reproduce it for you. The beauty of this is that it wont be exactly the same.
No matter what your taste or style of artwork is, there will be somethig here for you.
